Mahie Blog: Math’s Hunt Riddles

IYC 2019 Math’s Hunt Riddles I had selected as a manager event named as Mathematical Hunt in my university's youth carnival. It was a good experience working over and heading a mass event. For that purpose, I had selected some mathematical riddles which I want to share here. 1)     How can you add eight 8's to get the number 1,000? The key to this math riddle is realizing that the one place must be zero.  888 + 88 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 1,000 2)     In a certain country ½ of 5 = 3. If the same proportion holds, what is the value of 1/3 of 10 ? The answer is 4   1)     An athlete is able to jump FOREVER. However, everytime that she jumps she gets a bit more tired, and  every jump  goes 1212 as far as her prior jump. Now, for her very first jump, she goes 1212 of a foot. On her second jump, she goes 1414 of a foot, and so on and so forth. The beginn...

One best Around : Environment

Image
One best Around : Environment We used to neglect the best things around us while focusing on the shortcomings. This is how we conclude society as well. Yesterday I was sitting across an institute Mosque and have seen a car rushed near the mosque. A man from back seat rushed to the mosque while another man with ordinary clothing came out of the front seat and locked the car and paced the other one. I thought that this is the beauty when an authorized person and his driver will stand in one row at one place and bow down in front of their ALLAH ALMIGHTGY. Is it not a good thing to notice around! Why we can write about and un real bad incident and cannot find peace from daily matters? There are both types of people around you. Sometimes we are so nice to someone but the other one totally irritated , and sometimes another one irritates you back, however, some people are been nice to you too. That's the beauty of life. But one bad experience does not mean that we have to let it go a...

PTC Markhor is our group name and we worked for Cleaning Initiative in Gujranwala back in 2017.Our agenda is to stop use of plastic bags.We did much for this cause during our project and for spreading awareness to public about plastic bags.Filming videos with our school fellows is also a part of our campaign.   Filming vedios during awareness lectures with beaconite fellows against use of plastic bags Filming part is the most excited one. Why?? Because we were super active and not remained free wrecking bull. Popularity in school was the extra portion of filming. We made almost every person of school to stand and listen to us. For making this awareness part interesting we shot a short video with them while saying Say no to plastic bags. Filming this shorter video blasts into thunders of laughter and we took several minutes for shooting. Sometimes we had to hurry for next class and even laughing in class. It enhances our Communication skills Collaboration powers Co...

However elections were done and results show majority of Pakistan tehreek e insaf. But as Punjab was governed by Pakistan Muslim league Nawaz for 10 years it is clearly seen that Punjab has majority followers of the PMLN. In such a situation what emerged was the youth of Punjab are greatest supporter of Imran Khan. Elections 2018 shows the change in behaviour of Punjabi people. It is not too early to say that PMLN is going to loose their government in Punjab Province. Beacoue not only youth but also the people formerly supporting PMLN started questioning themselves and ended with vote for PTI. But some areas of Punjab still has majority votes for PMLN and Gujranwala, Sargodha and Lahore among those. On other hand cities like Faislaad has no one elected from PMLN but from PTI.
