I was asked to give some ideas about World Space Week 2018 by my university and I designed a competition reuse to produce.It is same as what we did in our Eco Internship Programme - WWF-Pakistan.

REUSE TO PRODUCE COMPETITION

I want to organize a creative competition-Reuse to Produce.

  1.  Produce:  In this competition students will be asked to reuse any of the useless material and produce something new which is usable and valuable.
  2. Sell:  Then students have to prepare a marketing strategy.It is more simply how will they sell their products.

Above two steps are the two parts of the competition.

DETAILS

Students will be allowed to produce something by using material as plastic bottles, news papers, CD's, ice-cream sticks, etc.It's up-to students that what they had decided and what they want to produce so bring their materials along.But It would be generous to provide them glues and stationery. As WWF-Pakistan held similar competition for fund raising. And our group produced a newspaper bag out of old magazine papers and a decoration piece out of plastic bottle.

MARKING CRITERIA

Marking must be done following points

  1. What material students have used, Is it really useless ?
  2. Product is valuable or not What is the significance of product ?
  3. How well they know how to sell product. Marketing strategies are coping with product or not?

2nd competition


ADVERTISE PRODUCTS ; SCRIPT WRITING


It is an advertisement competition.We will provide some options like stationery, shoes, detergents etc; to the participants and they have to prepare a script for the advertisement for respective product.Marking will consider most convincing script, decent and reliable one. Script base must be space or astronomer. 
Main task would to connect ordinary products with space.
There would be two categories for the script writing one for serious and other for the comedy based.Participants will need computers to make draft of their scripts.Time 1 hour including drafting and internet if they want to search for their products.
I will write more about it if this approval would selected and this competition really held.

Criticism

Criticism It was very clear to me when I decided to write  that criticism is something you have to face. Like yeah you have to whenever you have to show something to someone, to represent someone, these someones are open rather invited to criticize to point out the mistakes they think there are, however, or maybe that is your style or your whole point to writing or whatever. But the thing here is that I was very sure and still decided to write, even in my last post I admitted that I am open to criticism and being judged, but damn man that's another level of patience required for criticism. This whole stage of my life is all about criticism of different things, the way you think, the way you think like damnn yeah, people don't even pass comments on the way you think while I am like yeah plz Can I think alone?
